Spartlic: a car-services super-app for the UAE
We designed, built, and launched Spartlic, a cross-platform mobile app that connects UAE car owners with spare parts, mechanic shops, and car-wash services in one place.

The challenge
Car owners in the UAE juggle separate channels for spare parts, mechanics, and car-wash bookings. There was no single, trustworthy place to find vetted providers and compare them quickly.
We needed to ship a polished consumer app on both iOS and Android at the same time, on a startup budget, without splitting the team into two native codebases.
Our approach
- 1
Discovery and product scoping
We mapped the core user journeys (find a part, find a shop, book a wash) and cut the first release to the smallest set of features that delivered real value, so we could launch fast and learn.
- 2
One codebase, two platforms
We built the app in React Native so a single team could ship to the App Store and Google Play in parallel, keeping the design and feature set consistent across both.
- 3
Location-first experience
We integrated maps and location so users see nearby providers first, with categories, search, and clear listings tuned for fast scanning on mobile.
- 4
Launch and store publishing
We handled the full release: store assets, review submissions, and the production backend, then iterated on feedback after going live.
The results
Spartlic launched on both stores in 2022 as a single product covering multiple automotive service categories, validating the marketplace model with a lean, maintainable codebase.
Because the app runs from one React Native codebase, every new feature ships to iOS and Android together, keeping ongoing maintenance cost low.
